Evil Geniuses signed Jacky “Stewie2K” Yip to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive roster on Tuesday.

Stewie2K has been appointed as Evil Geniuses’ new in-game leader, a position he has held at various times over the past six years with Cloud9 and Team Liquid. He has also competed with SK Gaming and MIBR during that time.

Stewie2K, 24, joins fellow American Vincent “Brehze” Cayonte and Bulgaria’s Tsvetelin “CeRq” Dimitrov on the roster. Frenchman Damien “maLek” Marcel is the coach of the team.

Stewie2K likely won’t be the last addition to the club. Evil Geniuses CEO Nicole LaPointe Jameson teased the addition of Stewie2K’s former Cloud9 teammates Timothy “autimatic” Ta and William “RUSH” Wierzba last week.

The trio crossed over together at C9 from 2017-18, winning the Boston Major in 2018 before Stewie2K departed for SK Gaming. RUSH would leave in the middle of 2019, while autimatic joined Gen.G Esports later that year before ultimately making the switch to Valorant in early 2021.
