Shortly after the Philadelphia Eagles selected Washington cornerback Sidney Jones, former Eagles linebacker Emmanuel Acho took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the pick.

He complimented Jones’ skills but didn’t seem optimistic about his chances of succeeding in Philadelphia.

If anyone would have an insight into the Eagles organization, it would be Acho. From 2013-2015, he had two separate tenures with the team. Additionally, Acho’s career in Philadelphia was cut short due to a thumb injury. So, he has a pretty good idea as to what kind of training staff the team has as well.

So, this is anything but a vote of confidence. If nothing else, it certainly seems as though Jones will be fighting an uphill battle with his new team.
