Carson Wentz looking forward to ‘fun atmosphere’ in Seattle

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz

In Week 11, rookie quarterback Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles take their game across to the west coast to play the Seattle Seahawks.

During an interview segment earlier this week, Wentz told Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre that it is going to be a “fun atmosphere” playing in Seattle this Sunday.

CenturyLink Field is one of the loudest, if not the loudest of all NFL stadiums. “Fun” is an interesting term to use to describe the home field that houses the famous Legion of Boom.

We can be sure that Seattle’s defense is salivating in preparation for this matchup against a rookie quarterback like we do watching a steak cook on the grill.

Wentz also told Favre that just playing in the NFL in general is a “fun” experience. He was also happily surprised to find out one week before the season opener that he would be starting for the Eagles.

The Eagles arrive Sunday coming off a much-needed win against the Atlanta Falcons. The Seahawks should still be flying high after defeating the New England Patriots on the road. Heavily favored Seattle (-6.5) will truly test Wentz’s capabilities this weekend.

We shall see if he describes the experience as “fun” once this game comes to a close.
