Best DraftKings NFL DFS Value Plays Week 4

nfl

This article will focus on the best value play at each position using DraftKings’ pricing for the Sunday 1 p.m. slate. We will provide one cheap option at every position based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom. Now that we’ve done the housekeeping, let’s get into Week 4.

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford, Los Angeles Rams ($5,700)

Stafford is averaging more than 300 passing yards per game. He has a good matchup this week against the Colts’ defense, which is allowing more than 25 fantasy points per game to opposing QBs. This game could have some fantasy goodness, and I like stacking Stafford with breakout stars Puka Nacua and Kyren Williams.

Running Back

Khalil Herbert, Chicago Bears ($4,700)

Herbert is a value play this week facing the Broncos’ defense. The Broncos are last in the league defending the run and just gave up four touchdowns each to De’Von Achane and Raheem Mostert.

Wide Receiver

Adam Thielen, Carolina Panthers ($4,500)

I mentioned Thielen here last week, and he delivered, catching 11 passes for 145 yards and a TD. Thanks to that performance, Thielen is averaging 27 fantasy points per game over the last two games. This week, he has a great matchup against the Vikings’ defense, which is ranked 23rd against the WR1 position. Vegas has this game with the third-highest projected total on the slate, and Thielen should be involved against his former team.

Tight End

Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers ($3,400)

Freiermuth is an exciting value play this week. His targets are down to start the season, but he has scored in two out of three games and has a good matchup against a Houston defense that struggles to stop tight ends.

Defense

Arizona Cardinals ($2,200)

If you’re willing to take a risk, you can take a flyer on Arizona. The Cardinals’ defense has forced two fumbles, three INTs, and 11 sacks and scored a TD already this season. The 49ers are a tough matchup, but Arizona could perform at a low price and low ownership.
