This article will focus on the best value play at each position using DraftKings’ pricing for the Sunday 1 p.m. slate. We will provide one cheap option at every position based on matchups and game theory from top to bottom. Now that we’ve done the housekeeping, let’s get into NFL Week 5.

Quarterback

Zach Wilson, New York Jets ($4,900)

Wilson started to get the Jets’ offense going last week. This week, he has a great matchup against the Broncos’ 31st-ranked defense against the QB position. Consider Wilson a value play this week on the road against Denver. If you play him, you can stack him with sophomore standouts Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall.

Running Back

Breece Hall, New York Jets ($5,400)

Sticking with the Jets, Hall has a chance to have a breakout game this week. He also has a great matchup against the Broncos’ defense, which is again ranked second-to-worst against the RB1 position. Hall is also reportedly no longer on a pitch count as he works back from his ACL injury. Hall could have a top-five fantasy performance at the RB position for much cheaper than the top options.

Wide Receiver

Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants ($3,000)

Robinson has led the Giants in targets since making his season debut in Week 3. This week, he has a good matchup against a Miami defense that has given up over 300 yards passing in each of the last two games. Consider Robinson a value play this week on the road against the Dolphins.

Tight End

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons ($3,300)

Kyle has been the Pitts for fantasy owners (pun intended) so far this season. But he has still seen decent usage in terms of targets. He can make amends at home this week against the Texans. At a much lower price than he has sometimes been, Pitts is a value play this week.

Defense

Carolina Panthers ($2,200)

The Panthers’ defense forced two INTs and two sacks and scored last week against the Vikings. It’s not for the faint of heart, but they are viable against a Lions offense that has turned the ball over in every game this season.
