The Houston Astros players got their World Series rings on Tuesday. The fans will have a chance to purchase rings of their own, though their won’t be many and they won’t be cheap.
For $11,112 per ring, the Astros are selling 112 World Series rings made special for the fans.

As best as we can tell, 112 represents the number of games that Houston won on its way to the 2017 World Series. They were 101-61 in the regular season, and 11-7 in the postseason. The other number of significance would be LVI, commemorating that 1962 was the 56th season of Astros baseball.
While the ring is not cheap, it does look pretty sweet. The Commissioner’s Trophy, Minute Maid Field, the Houston skyline, and of course, the Astros logo gives it a very unique feel.
Here’s a look at the real thing, and we must say it’s just a slight upgrade.
