Bears GM Ryan Pace ripped for drafting yet another TE, Cole Kmet

Bears

The Chicago Bears have a love affair with tight ends, and it continued when general manager Ryan Pace took Cole Kmet early in Round 2 Friday night.

Chicago recently signed long-in-the-tooth veteran Jimmy Graham in a move that had everyone scratching their heads. Then they released Trey Burton, who was a big free-agency get a few years back. Even after that move, they had nine tight ends on the roster heading into the draft.

Now they have 10.

ESPN’s Field Yates had the perfect response.

With all that in mind, it wasn’t all that surprising that Pace was ripped on social media for taking another tight end.

It’s funny to many of us, but Bears fans aren’t amused.
