The Kansas Jayhawks lost center Oduka Azubuike to an apparent right ankle injury early during Saturday’s game against Kansas State.
Azubuike went down to the ground in a great deal of pain with what appeared to be a bad ankle injury. Shortly afterward, he headed back into the locker room for further treatment, sporting a distinct limp.
The 7-foot senior had four points and a rebound early for the Jayhawks before exiting with the apparent ankle injury. So far this season, Azubuike is averaging 13.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game.
