WATCH: Cardinals’ Marcell Ozuna hits 870-feet worth of homers

The St. Louis Cardinals needed a win at home in Game 4 of the NLDS Monday against the Atlanta Braves to extend the series.

Outfielder Marcell Ozuna did everything possible early on to make this come to fruition.

That included a 439-foot solo blast off Braves starter Dallas Keuchel in the second inning to put St. Louis up 2-0. It came on the second half of a back-to-back after Goldschmidt also went deep.

After Atlanta pulled to within a run, Ozuna took to the plate against against Keuchel two innings later. He proceeded to take the former Cy Young winner deep for another solo blast. This one traveled nearly 430 feet and left his bat at 103 MPH.

It’s this type of long ball ability that St. Louis has been missing in the series.

Ozuna obviously had Keuchel’s number early in this elimination game. How much so? 869 feet worth of homers in two at-bats. That’s just insane.
