Packers first-rounder Rashan Gary carted off with injury

This is pretty much the last thing the Green Bay Packers wanted to see during an otherwise meangless game Thursday night.

Already resting 33 players because of less-than-stellar field conditions against the Oakland Raiders in Canada, the Packers lost rookie first-round pick Rashan Gary to a what appears to be a head injury.

This is the second time in the game that pass rusher went down to injury. That begs one major question. Why did the Packers keep him in the game after suffering the initial injury?

You never want to see preseason injury. That’s taken to a whole new level when it comes to a game that was almost not even played in the first place.

The hope here is that Gary will be just fine.
