The National Anthem takes on a new meaning during unofficial holidays around the MLB world. That’s never been more true than during Jackie Robinson Day.

With Major League Baseball celebrating one of its greatest of all time Monday night, a young White Sox fan did an absolutely amazing job performing the anthem ahead of the team’s game against the Kansas City Royals.

Just check out Lance Moon killing his rendition of the anthem using a violin in the process.

If that doesn’t give you chills right there.

Moon performed the anthem under the umbrella of the White Sox ACE program, which helps “develop high caliber inner-city baseball players who are prepared for success both on and off the field, via the group’s Facebook page.

We’re going to go ahead and say that Mr. Moon is off to a rip-roaring start. What an amazing performance from the young man.
