Man faces year in prison for pointing laser at Tom Brady

The man that was apparently pointing a laser in Tom Brady’s direction during this year’s AFC Championship Game in Kansas City has been cited for disturbing the peace.

A citation has been issued against a fan after a laser pointer was aimed at New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady during the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs in January,” a local ABC News affiliate in Missouri reported Tuesday evening. “Dwyan Morgan, of Lee’s Summit, was cited with disturbing the peace, a municipal violation”

Morgan faces up to one year in prison or a fine of up to $1,000.00. He’s set to appear in court this summer.

The Chiefs had previously banned Morgan from attending games at Arrowhead for life after this incident against the eventual Super Bowl champion Patriots.

He’s now been named for the first time following the release of public court records.
