A report earlier on Wednesday indicated that New Orleans Saints backup quarterback Teddy Bridgewater was considering signing with the Miami Dolphins.
This came after suggestions that he had already agreed to re-sign with the Saints to be Drew Brees’ primary backup.
Needless to say, Bridgewater is weighing his options now that free agency has started. It had previously been noted that New Orleans might consider Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill as Bridgewater’s replacement.
This report throws cold water on that idea.
Source on the possibility of the Saints signing Ryan Tannehill: "No way."

It remains to be seen where the original reports of New Orleans’ interest came from. It could simply stem from Saints assistant general manager Jeff Ireland’s past relationship with Tannehill dating back to their days together in South Beach.
As it is, there’s a lot of moving parts on this front. We have no idea of Bridgewater will sign with the Dolphins. For his part, Tannehill has not been officially released by the Dolphins yet.
