Enes Kanter shades former Knicks team after Blazers debut

Former New York Knicks center Enes Kanter made his debut with the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday after being waived by the Knicks earlier this month.

Like clockwork, Kanter was able to taste the sweet nectar of victory with his new Blazers squad defeating the Brooklyn Nets.

It didn’t take Kanter too long to shade his former squad in New York following the double-digit win.

This is NBA petty at its absolute best. New York had lost 18 consecutive games prior to a win over the Hawks ahead of the All-Star Break. In fact, this squad has dropped 31 of its past 34 games.

It must feel good for Kanter to be on a winning team with a real opportunity for a deep playoff run. By the way, he went for 18 points and nine boards in his Portland debut. Not too shabby.
