Iowa State linebacker Willie Harvey ended his collegiate career on a sour note when he was ejected in the Valero Alamo Bowl for a vicious hit on Gardner Minshew.
Minshew was on his way down when Harvey laid him out with a brutal helmet-to-helmet hit.

Thankfully Minshew shrugged this off. It could have been bad.

It took no time at all for the refs officiating this game to toss Harvey for targeting. As bad as this one looked, however, it paled in comparison to another targeting call we witnessed earlier on Friday.
