The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing for everything in Week 17, while the Cincinnati Bengals are playing for nothing. But looking at this pick-six from Ben Roethlisberger, one might think that the roles were reversed.
Roethlisberger threw a pass in the direction of JuJu Smith-Schuster. But Cincinnati’s Shawn Williams got in the way, intercepted the pass, and took it 58 yards for the score.

To put it bluntly, this was an awful pass by Roethlisberger.
Smith-Schuster was blanketed. Even if the pass had somehow gotten through Williams, it might have been intercepted anyway. And of course, Roethlisberger definitely should have seen Williams standing there.
Clearly, there was some sort of miscommunication. Big Ben would definitely like to have that throw back.
