LOOK: SMU busts out turnover crown and goblet after Shea Patterson INT

SMU, like many other schools around the nation now, has a special set of props that it uses when the defense forces a turnover.

Instead of a turnover chain, or a turnover backback, or a turnover robe, the Mustangs have gone a bit more old school with a turnover crown and goblet.

Junior safety Mikial Onu proudly displayed both after picking off Shea Patterson at The Big House in Ann Arbor Saturday in what’s a shockingly scoreless game through more than a quarter of play.

Dilly, Dilly!
