Jerry Rice: I’m the best football player of all-time

San Francisco 49ers legend Jerry Rice isn’t one that lacks confidence in himself. He knows where he stands among the best receivers of all-time. He is legitimately the greatest to ever play that position.

Apparently, Rice has now decided to take that to the next level and throw down the gauntlet. Up on stage with Charles Barkley recently, and in front of a passionate crowd, Rice proclaimed himself to be the “(expletive) best football player of all-time.”

Yes, that’s Rice reading off his career stats like he has them written on the back of his hand.

A 13-time Pro Bowler and 10-time All-Pro, Rice holds NFL records in receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895) and receiving touchdowns (197). He also racked up 28 receptions for 512 yards and seven touchdowns in three Super Bowl appearances, all wins.

Yeah, Rice certainly knows where he stands. Though, one Tom Brady might want to have a word with the self-proclaimed GOAT.
