Terry Rozier on LeBron James’ blocks: ‘I’m gonna get him next year’

LeBron James blocks shot of Terry Rozier

Terry Rozier didn’t have a whole lot of success going up against LeBron James during the Eastern Conference Finals, which the Cleveland Cavaliers won in seven games over the Boston Celtics.

James, in fact, owned the ever-bold Celtics guard on more than one occasion.

During one play in Game 6, he chased down Rozier from behind, swatting away a layup attempt in dramatic fashion.

Then, during a pivotal stretch in Game 7, James did one better, rising up and savagely rejecting Rozier’s attempted dunk, then staring his opponent down for what seemed like ages (watch here).

Speaking to reporters on Monday during the team’s exit meeting, Rozier quipped, “Next year I’m gonna catch him. I’m gonna get him next year…(smiles) But he blocked me a lot,” per Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe.

Good luck with that, Scary Terry.
