Report: Free agent WR Eric Decker visiting with the Saints

The New Orleans Saints have been looking for help at receiver this offseason. They kicked the tires on trading for Jarvis Landry and have had their hands in on multiple free agent pass catchers since.

Without anything coming to fruition on that end, New Orleans might be on the verge of adding a veteran receiver from the Tennessee Titans. According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post, free agent pass catcher Eric Decker is set to meet with the Saints.

Decker, 31, recorded 54 receptions for 563 yards and a touchdown for the Titans last season. He’s three years removed from having a 1,000-yard campaign with the New York Jets.

Adding Decker to the mix would be the obvious choice here for New Orleans. He has in the past worked well with Hall of Fame type quarterbacks, Peyton Manning being the latest example in Denver. In fact, Decker recorded 87 receptions for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns with the Broncos back in 2013.
