Free agent running back DeMarco Murray has a trip scheduled to visit the Detroit Lions, and after that visit he’s reportedly going to visit with the Seattle Seahawks.

Murray was released by the Tennessee Titans last week. He’s an aging back (30) who may have seen his best production already, but it’s hard to argue he couldn’t provide a boost to either the Lions or Seahawks.
In particular, Seattle’s ability to pound the rock this past year was notable. Russell Wilson was, by far, the team’s leading rusher. So, if he doesn’t land a deal in Detroit, the Seahawks would be foolish to let him leave Seattle if he’s in good shape following a knee injury last season.
