Baltimore Orioles reliever Zach Britton has appeared in four games since returning from injury. According to manager Buck Showalter, the time is nearing where Britton can return to his closing job.

Each of Britton’s four outings back have been one inning long. In those four innings, he’s allowed two earned runs on five hits in one walk. It is worth noting that both of the runs and three of the hits came in one outing.
Britton’s return to his regular job is certainly good news for the Orioles. He’s been nothing short of dominant throughout his career and locked down 120 saves from 2014-2016.
His return will also help bolster his value for a potential trade. Britton has been linked to a few teams, including the Dodgers, which has Kenley Jansen excited.
