The Buffalo Bills haven’t been a playoff team since Bill Clinton was in office and have the longest playoff drought going in the NFL right now.
They simply haven’t been able to string along enough good stuff with any consistency the past 17 years to break out of their funk — a soup of mediocrity, as I like to call it.
The ingredients that have made up this soup include inadequate coaching, poor personnel decisions, poor effort by the team itself on many occasions and apparently at least one failed pre-game pep talk (h/t Reddit).
Awe crap.
Well, better luck next year, guys. You’re going to need it, too, since Bill Belichick and Tom Brady don’t appear to be retiring any time soon.
