It’s not often you see an NFL punter getting a stiff fine from the league office, but that’s exactly what happened to Marquette King of the Oakland Raiders.
The talented punter was dinged $18,231 for a horse collar tackle during Week 2, when he took down Atlanta Falcons return man Eric Weems from behind.

Of course, King knew it was coming.
He even joked about setting up a GoFundMe account to pay for his illegal tackle.
Aye y'all I'm about to set up a go fund me for my horse collar fine I'm about to get today…

Thankfully, King can afford such a stiff fine now that he’s gotten a nice bump in pay. He signed a five-year deal worth up to $16.5 million this offseason with the Raiders.
