Responding to a rash of sexual assault cases, Baylor University’s Board of Regents approved new measures to put a stop to them in the future and to provide more resources to help bolster Title IX.

ESPN’s Outside the Lines recently investigated a series of sexual assaults on Baylor’s campus and reported school officials as ignoring the problem.
OTL detailed three students who were ignored by the school after alleging they were assaulted by football player Tevin Elliott. A school administrator said they couldn’t do anything about the allegations because “it turns into a he said-she said,” per the report.
More recently, school Chancellor Ken Starr released a statement in which he said Baylor had hired law firm Pepper Hamilton to look over the past issues and to provide “forward-looking recommendations.”
It appears those recommendations have been issued, received and implemented.
