WATCH: James Laurinaitis picks off Aaron Rodgers at Lambeau Field to break streak

Aaron Rodgers

It only took 587 tries for a defender to finally haul in an interception on an Aaron Rodgers pass at Lambeau Field. Rodgers had been on an amazing interception-free streak that dated back to December of 2012 before Sunday.

St. Louis Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis got his hands on a tipped pass, thus breaking the streak.

Here is a clip of the play that broke Rodgers’ remarkable streak.

Not surprisingly, the Rams couldn’t make anything happen afterwards, as Nick Foles gave the ball right back.

Rodgers had already thrown a touchdown pass to rookie receiver Ty Montgomery before the pick, and then the Packers scored again on a pick-six by Quinten Rollins. With a 14-0 lead already in the first quarter, it appears Green Bay is well on its way to its fifth straight win to open the season.
