Michael Jordan Thinks He Can Beat His Hornets Players One-on-One

This either means Michael Jordan, 52, still thinks he can play elite-level basketball or it means he doesn’t have much confidence in his Charlotte Hornets players.

The current Hornets owner had this to say when asked if he could beat his players one-on-one (h/t CBS Sports):

“I’m pretty sure I can, so I don’t want to do that and demolish their confidence. So I stay away from them, I let them think they’re good…but I’m too old to do that anyway.”

We have recently seen Jordan take to the court against a multitude of current athletes, including New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

And the results were as expected:

I for one want to see Al Jefferson go up against Jordan. Though, the 52-year-old six-time NBA champion probably would still find a way to hit that fade over the Hornets 6-foot-10 big man.

Jordan is right when in determining he doesn’t want to ruin the confidence of his players. Losing to a man 20-plus years their senior can’t bode well when going up against the best the world has to offer.

On another note, it’s nice to see that Jordan’s confidence is still at an all-time high.
