Golf pro Bubba Watson wasn’t too happy with local media in Oklahoma City when the Daily Oklahoman called Thunder forward Kevin Durant “Mr. Unreliable” after a loss earlier in the playoffs. Watson, a two-time Masters champion, relayed his unhappiness to Durant at some point after the newspaper ran that headline.
Apparently, the NBA MVP got the message and wanted to reward Watson following Oklahoma City’s series-clinching Game 6 win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday.
It remains to be seen whether Watson will sport this pair of shoes at his next golf tournament. That would definitely be a new look with Watson’s Ping visor, polo shirt and white pants. Get it done, Mr. Watson.
