There isn’t much that words can add to what the Los Angels Clippers players did prior to the start of their Game 4 matchup against the cross-state Golden State Warriors. On the heels of Donald Sterling’s comments which were reported by TMZ on Friday night, Chris Paul and Co. have taken a stand. It remains to be seen what the end result will be, but the players clearly made a statement this afternoon.

The black arm bands are what’s really interesting here. Obviously that color was a point of emphasis for Clippers players prior to tip-off.

Leaving their Clippers-issues fatigues at halfcout prior to the start of the game was yet another statement. The players are playing for one another, not the franchise, which is headed by Sterling.
The players' statement is clear. They're now playing for each other and no longer for the Clippers’ franchise.

Even Warriors fans joined in the silent protest, some with pretty apropos humor…

And others with a clear statement of support, even for the road-tripping Clippers…
