Former San Francisco 49ers general manager Trent Baalke is unemployed no more. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Baalke has landed a job in the NFL front office.
Schefter noted that Baalke will be a “Football Operations Consultant,” also detailing some of the specific jobs that Baalke will do.
In his advisory role for NFL, Trent Baalke will work on game-related matters, player development and evaluation, officiating video review.

Baalke was employed by the 49ers from 2010-2016 and served as the general manager from 2011-2016.
If he handles his new job like he handled his old one, players with torn ACL’s will get preferential treatment, while quarterbacks and receivers will be handled with pure disdain.
