Well, he should have seen this coming. Jimmy Butler’s cell phone is blowing up right now after he gave out his phone number (watch) in his introductory press conference as a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
And true to his word, Butler is actually taking the calls.

Butler’s reasoning for giving out his phone number was so that he could respond directly to his critics.
“Somebody has got to take the blame,” he said. “I’ll be that guy. I’m okay with it. I’m fine. Everybody is entitled to their opinion, but with that being said, my phone is in my back pocket right now. If whoever has anything to say to me, feel free.”
We’re betting most of the thousands of Snapchat requests Butler is receiving right now are not being made out of a desire to criticize, however. Now that fans can connect directly to Butler, they’re leaping at the opportunity.
