During the Golden State Warriors Eastern Conference road trip, two-time reigning NBA MVP Stephen Curry stopped by Liberty University for a while.
He talked to the basketball team about the upcoming NCAA Tournament, relaying his small-school experiences from his days at Davidson.
More importantly, Curry and Liberty also worked to collect 20,000 pairs of shoes for children in Africa.

That’s certainly a noble cause for both Liberty and Curry to lend their names to. It’s not surprising, at all, but still nice to see.
Curry’s brother, Seth, played at Liberty for one year before transferring to Duke.
Liberty’s basketball season likely came to an end on Thursday when the Flames were upended by Radford in the first round of the Big South Tournament.
