The NFL preseason will get underway when the Arizona Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys play in the Hall of Fame Game. Legendary Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald was less than enthused to hear the news.

That’s a pretty good indication of what NFL players, especially veterans, think of the preseason.

The weekend won’t be a total bust for Fitzgerald. In addition to getting to watch the golf tournament, he’ll get to see his former quarterback Kurt Warner inducted into the Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame weekend will be significant for both teams. Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones will also be inducted.

It will be the first Hall of Fame Game since 2016’s disaster, when unplayable field conditions led to the game being cancelled.
