In contrast to earlier indications, it is now being reported that Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory, currently suspended due to the NFL’s substance abuse policy, will not be eligible to return to practice Wednesday.
Per source, the NFL has informed the Cowboys that Randy Gregory will now NOT be allowed to begin practicing tomorrow.

In what is less-than-ideal news, the Cowboys had planned to have Gregory up to speed for the looming Week 16 matchup against the red-hot Detroit Lions.
While Gregory is no longer allowed to practice this week, his status for Week 16 is still up in the air, pending an appeal by the Cowboys and Gregory.
Regardless, this is a situation to track, as Gregory would provide much-needed pass rushing help for Dallas defense looking to propel the Cowboys to a Super Bowl title.
