With a tough upcoming matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning did the smartest thing he could think of doing in prep for the Steelers — He called his brother Peyton.

Peyton offered Eli a few pointers on how the Giants could attack the Steelers defense, per ESPN’s Jordan Raanan.

“Yeah, he gave some insight,” Eli Manning said of his brother’s first visit to the team facility. “Just some stuff that was successful; he’s played Pittsburgh a lot over the years. Played ’em last year in the playoffs. So [he] just had a few tips or ideas that may fit into our system.”

The Peyton Manning-led Denver Broncos defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-17 in the AFC Divisional round this past season during the last playoff run of Peyton’s career.

In a very nice act of charity, the Hall of Fame-bound Peyton helped out his turnover-prone brother in hopes that Eli can lead the Giants to victory this Sunday.

Who says sibling rivalry holds brothers back from helping each other?
