Carson Palmer leaves game for concussion evaluation

Carson Palmer was already having a rough day when he was forced out of the game with a potential concussion.

After being evaluated by doctors on the sideline following a play in which his head hit the turf hard, Palmer left for the locker room. The Cardinals announced he was being evaluated for a concussion an that his return is questionable.

The hit in question had head coach Bruce Arians heated.

Palmer had been sacked three times before exiting the game, and the Los Angeles Rams added five other quarterback hits.

The veteran had tallied 288 yards on 23-of-36 passes with a touchdown and an interception.

Drew Stanton took over for Palmer late in the fourth quarter.
