WATCH: Pete Carroll losing his mind on Seahawks sideline

Pete Carroll is one of the NFL head coaches on the hot seat

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll is among the most animated in his profession. Despite his relatively advanced age, the Super Bowl-winning head man shows some youthful exuberance on the sideline.

That was more apparent than ever Sunday afternoon against the division rival Los Angeles Rams at his old stomping grounds in Southern California.

Carroll let the officials know just how upset he was with them.

Carroll was so animated that he nearly knocked one of his own players out of the game.

To be fair, there were some questionable calls during Carroll’s temper tantrum.

With Los Angeles up 9-3 and just over two minutes remaining, Seahawks defensive end Cassius Marsh was called for a personal foul face mask penalty that gave the Rams an extra set of downs.

Then, as the Rams continued the possession, Carroll was attempting to call a timeout. Unfortunately for the Seahawks, he couldn’t catch the attention of the officials. That allowed a good 10 seconds to run off the clock.

Either way, Carroll’s return to the Los Angeles Coliseum did not come without incident. It also didn’t come without the social media world making fun of the head coach.

In the end, Seattle fell to the Rams by the score of 9-3 in one ugly-looking football game for both sides.
