Marlins’ Dee Gordon emotional after lead-off HR

The Miami Marlins are playing the New York Mets on Monday with Jose Fernandez on everyone’s mind. So, when Dee Gordon — a friend of Fernandez who was visibly overtaken with grief on Sunday — led off Monday’s game with a home run, it felt right.

Understandably, Gordon’s return to the Miami dugout was quite emotional.
