Mongolian wrestling coach protests decision by stripping down to underwear

Olympic Mongolian wrestling coach Byambarenchin Bayaraa gave fans a WWE style show on Sunday after a decision that gave Uzbekistan’s Ikhtiyor Navruzov a bronze medal over Mandakhnaran Ganzorig in the men’s freestyle 65-kilogram division.

He stripped down to his underwear.

He made it crystal clear afterwards what the intent of his display was.

This was a protest,” he said, per Wayne Drehs of ESPN. “There was a problem with the refereeing. The referees were not good. Three million people in Mongolia waited for this bronze medal and now we have no medal. 100-percent of the stadium supported us.”

Indeed, the crowd cheered him on as he stripped down to his underwear.

Bayaraa and another coach, who also stripped, had to be escorted out of the stadium by Brazilian national police.

This is far from the only controversial decision. Olympic boxing judges were suspended following a couple of ridiculous decisions involving Russian boxer.

Kudos to the Mongolian coaches for standing up for their guy.
