Aaron Rodgers on Ndamukong Suh: League’s most terrifying player

There was a time not too long at that defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was absolutely dominating opposing offenses in the NFC North.

This came before he signed the richest deal for a defensive player in the history of the game with the Miami Dolphins prior to last season.

Suh’s ability to make a mockery of offensive linemen during his five-year tenure with the Detroit Lions was only matched by his willingness to be a dirty player.

No one knows this more than Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who bore the brunt of Suh’s physical on-field presence.

Speaking to Bill Simmons on HBO, Rodgers had some rather interesting things to say about his former division rival.

When asked who the NFL’s most-terrifying player was, Rodgers simply responded “Ndamukong Suh.”

In expanding on this, the former MVP did take time to make a joke or two at the defensive tackle’s expense.

“You’ve got to worry about him stepping on your calf,” Rodgers said sarcastically. “His feet were a little cold, though, so I can’t hold that against him. He couldn’t feel his feet.”

That’s in reference to Suh’s excuse that he couldn’t feel his feet during yet another incident when the former Lion Pro Bowler stepped on Rodgers’ foot.

Rodgers did go on to indicate that Suh is still one of the most-dominant defensive players in the game.

Based on the clips above, we can conclude that Rodgers has a reason to be terrified of Suh.

In terms of what the latter has done since joining the Dolphins in South Beach, he finished last season with 60 tackles and six sacks.
