Remember bringing your baseball glove to the stadium as a kid hoping to catch a foul ball? Remember being disappointed when it didn’t happen?
Well, this one lucky Detroit Tigers fan doesn’t really have to worry about that type of disappointment in his life.
Bill Dugan caught a grand total of five foul balls during Detroit’s game Monday afternoon:
He then proceeded to give each ball to children seated near him in the stadium:
Talk about being of that giving nature.
If you think Bill somehow got lucky by nabbing these five balls, think again.
According to the Detroit Free Press, Bill has 200-300 balls at home (h/t CBS Sports).
The better news here? It sure seems like none of the balls Bill has caught came by the way of him pushing a little kid out of the way. Yeah, it’s something we’ve seen all too often around the baseball world:
Good on Bill for being able to come away with so many collectibles. Better on him for actually acting in such a giving manner.
