WATCH: Boston radio host says Roger Goodell should be murdered

Did the NFL cover up the Dwight Clark ALS announcement by announcing news Tom Brady's Super Bowl jerseys had been found the next day?

A radio host in Boston by the name of Kirk Minihane said on Wednesday that someone should “hire somebody to murder” Roger Goodell as a means to get him out of the NFL commissioner’s office.

There have been many instances where public figures have crossed the line, but this one takes the cake.

Here is the video, courtesy of Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post.

How much you want to bet this guy is off the air, like, immediately?

There’s no doubt Minihane was being facetious, but there’s also no doubt he went way overboard with this horrible joke.

Goodell, as most are likely aware, is hated in Boston for his recent iron-fist ruling against the New England Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady in the Deflategate scandal. No matter how disgusted anyone might be over the entire matter, kidding around like this is foolish—at best.

At worst, Minihane planted a horrible idea into the consciousness of a populace that surely includes a few folks who aren’t in terrific mental condition to realize he was joking.

This was really in poor taste, and you can bet Minihane will get an earful from those who have been signing his checks.
