LOOK: Atlanta Hawks Fail Miserably with New Jerseys

Fresh off the Los Angeles Clippers insulting the fashion sense of every NBA fan, the Atlanta Hawks are apparently ready to fall in line.

The Atlanta-Journal Constitution provided us with a preview of the team’s unconscionable new uniforms, which are set to be unveiled Wednesday.

Be prepared, they are absolutely horrendous:

We have absolutely no idea what to do with these. Is that the jersey number actually filled in with neon? And what about the neon on the outside of the Atlanta?

My gosh.

Though, that’s not the worst part.

Black and red always goes good together, but there is absolutely no reason for that abhorrent “other” color to be involved here. Heck, did you notice that the hawk in the shorts is actually filled in with neon? The jersey itself also looks to have been run through a preschool art class with children intent on using Sharpies.

Sadly, this isn’t even the worst part.

What the heck are they doing with the “A” here?

Much like with the Clippers new unis, we thought this was some sort of sick joke. Unfortunately, it isn’t. Maybe it’s time for NBA teams to spend more time searching for better graphic design departments or whoever takes care of this stuff.
