The National Football League has done a tremendous job creating hype for an event, the Super Bowl, that doesn’t really need a lot of hype. Media Day is a prime example of this. It can range from being entertaining and fun to downright ridiculous.
In his meet and greet with the media on Tuesday, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick had to answer a question that was literally downright ridiculous.
Question: Moving forward, if you need anyone murdered….I am your guy.
Answer: Right now, I am just thinking about Seattle.
And now, don’t take this as Belichick giving the “reporter” the go-ahead to murder the Seattle Seahawks. That’s something the coach would rather see his team do on the football field in Super Bowl XLIX.
How some of these people get credentials, we will never know.
