The New Orleans Saints, who had pick No. 27, have just traded with the Arizona Cardinals for their 20th draft pick and have selected wide receiver Brandin Cooks from Oregon State. Excellent choice, as this guy had an astounding 1,730 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns in 2013.
Sean Payton and Drew Brees have a much-needed speedy toy in Brandin Cooks http://t.co/9AG38jFpoY

It looks like the Saints might have handed over their third-round pick to the Cardinals to secure Cooks. This makes sense as quarterback Drew Brees could use more help in this area. Cooks isn’t exactly the tall type of receiver like Marques Colston, but possesses incredible speed and those 2013 stats had the Saints not wanting to lose him to another team.
