Moments after New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate burned the New England Patriots for a 64-yard touchdown, another Giants’ offseason addition stepped up on Thursday Night Football.

New York’s outside linebacker Lorenzo Carter came off the edge to strip-sack Brady and sent the football bouncing around on the turf. Linebacker Markus Holden scooped up the ball and wouldn’t let anyone stop him on his way to a 42-yard touchdown

It’s been a rough night for New England’s offense and especially Brady. He has now fumbled the ball twice, losing the fumble return, and also threw a brutal interception.

If not for New York’s horrendous blunder on a punt, the Giants could have been leading this game in a result no one expected.
