Utah Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell takes the court for every game looking to prove he’s one of the NBA’s best players. Before Tuesday’s game against the Orlando Magic, he showed why he’s one of the most likable players off the court.

Mitchell saw a young fan sitting down at Vivint Smart Home Arena and decided to light up the child’s day, while probably making his year, by giving him his basketball shoes. The young boy thanked Mitchell for the shoes, got a fist bump and then couldn’t hold in his joy any longer.

It’s these little moments that show how much impact a single action from one player can have on a person’s life. It only took Mitchell a few moments to grab his shoes and give them to the kid, while every second of that will be a memory the fan never forgets.
