The Houston Astros did not waste any time getting on the scoreboard in Game 3 of the ALCS against the Yankees in New York on Tuesday.
In fact, former AL MVP Jose Altuve took Luis Severino deep on the very first he saw from the All-Star.
This is not a drill. Altuve smacked an 88 mph slider over the left-center fence for a 1-0 Astros lead.
Talk about getting the game started in the right fashion. This came after Carlos Correa ended Game 2 in walk-off fashion Sunday night.
With the series tied at one, every at-bat is going to be big. Altuve came up absolutely huge early on Tuesday.
