San Antonio Spurs rookie No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama has already made history throughout the first half of his initial NBA season.

He added to that Monday night against the Toronto Raptors with an absolutely brilliant all-around performance in San Antonio’s 122-99 win.

Wemby recorded 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field. He added 14 rebounds and a resounding 10 blocks to put up a rare triple-double stat line. It was something to behold.

He did this in just 29 minutes of action. Absolutely insane stuff.

In the process, Wembanyama also made NBA history. He’s just the fifth player in Association history with 25-plus points, 10-plus rebounds, five-plus assists and at least 10 blocks. The 20-year-old was absolutely on one throughout the game.

Just 39 days removed from his teenage years, what Wemby continues to do as a rookie defies logic. It’s absolutely insane.

It goes without saying that those watching Wemby’s performances were left stunned with what he was able to accomplish against Toronto.
