Iowa Hawkeyes superstar Caitlin Clark isn’t just the greatest women’s college basketball player alive, she’s now the all-time record-holder for points scored. Fans who pay close attention to Clark’s accomplishments are already familiar with what she’s capable of, but a whole other legion of basketball purists could witness her talents during next year’s NBA All-Star Weekend.

This year’s version saw Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu go toe-to-toe in a 3-Point Contest, and now it sounds like the NBA is interested in inviting Clark to All-Star Weekend in 2025. The news was revealed on Andre Iguodala’s Point Forward podcast, co-hosted by Evan Turner.

“You know I did just talk to Steph, which is interesting. You know they’re doing it next year, Steph vs Sabrina, but I think they might add. Not that Steph told me this, but there’s been talks about adding a Caitlin, and then adding another guy from the league.”

Clark is in her final season at Iowa. She’s already declared for the 2024 WNBA Draft, where she’ll be selected first overall by the Indiana Fever. That alone will propel her career to the next level, but getting her involved in the NBA’s All-Star Weekend would only broaden her impact on the game.
